The picture of the cannon is Phaya Thani, which is the largest cannon (length of 3 wa, volume 1 palm leaf 2 and a half inch, with the bullet size of 11 inches). This cannon has played an important part to protect the town of Pattani from the invaders for a long time. It is thus considered the symbol of the province from old times.
